Amnesty Bio

Singer/songwriter Suzanne Redd and guitarist/songwriter Carl McArn formed Atlanta-based Amnesty, an acoustic duo that evolved into a full band fueled by a tasteful blend of acoustic and electric blues rock. Lead guitarist, Fred McNeil, adds the flavor to the mix with his passionate slide and lap steel guitar. Jeff Henderson on percussion and drums creates the group’s rhythm and groove, regardless of whether he is on his carry in bongos or full drums. Pat Mrizek adds pulse to the groove on bass guitar.

Amnesty recently came together as a group, however all members bring their own variety of musical experiences and styles spanning the last 15 years. Currently the group is recording their first full length CD, which is expected to be released in May. Amnesty was also fortunate enough to open for the British group The Zombies in Amnesty’s first 6 months together. This passion for live performance creates a challenge for a band that loves to surprise their fans with new material and a great listening experience for fans who never know what they’ll hear next.
