Marianne, 33, a life long area resident and
well-loved Coweta County young mother, was diagnosed with leukemia in January
2003. Marianne is now in Houston where
she recently underwent a successful bone marrow transplant surgery. Marianne and her husband Lee have a 3-year
old daughter, Sydney. Before her
illness, she was a part time reading teacher at White Water Middle School in
Fayetteville, GA.
There have been
several setbacks and triumphs along the way, but the story of Marianne and her
progress has captured the hearts of many.
Insurance has helped tremendously but as a
result of her extended care out of town, traveling expense, living supplies,
groceries, and associated medical costs have exhausted her family financially.
Please help us help Marianne.
Sponsorships are available to those who contribute a dollar amount of $100 or greater or those who donate an essential service for the fundraiser. Sponsorships will help the fundraiser committees purchase the CD’s and other items for sale at the events and on the web site. Any Sponsor money received over the amount necessary will be directly donated to Marianne and her family.
