Thank You from the McLelland family

On behalf
of my sister, Marianne McLelland Hudson, her husband Lee, their daughter
Sydney, and the rest of our family, I wish to express our thanks and
appreciation for the love and support you have given to us during this most
difficult time in our lives.
This past
year has been a challenging one on so many different levels. My sister
has endured a year of pain, depression, weakness, and fear. She has been
fighting for her life through the chemotherapy, medication, treatments, ICU,
and a bone marrow transplant. The worst has been the heartbreaking
separation from her daughter and loved ones. Still, she has continued to
inspire us and has brought us closer together, not only as a family, but with
our ever growing extended family of friends and strangers alike. Through
this journey, we have strengthened our faith in God and humanity. We have
been blessed with such strong and loving embraces from the people in our
lives and it is that embrace that has kept our spirits high.
These
fundraisers have done so much more than raise money to help with financial
strains. They have brought together our dear friends and many new
ones to pray for Marianne and to lift her up when she feels weak. These
events have provided a wonderful opportunity
for everyone involved to reach out and share your blessings with
us. We are so thankful for your support and for the love you have given
to us.
I know my
sister will come home to us soon and that she will be healthy and will be
blessed with a life that has been forever changed in many positive ways.
We have all learned many valuable lessons while on this journey with her and we
rejoice and praise God every day for the gift that he has given her, and for
the gift he is giving to us through you.
Thank you
again for reaching out and for being a part of our lives. We will be
forever grateful.

Please
express my appreciation and admiration to all who contributed to the two-fundraiser
events. I cannot begin to realize the efforts made by each one but can clearly
see the results. You should all be very proud and satisfied. I never realized
the magnitude of love and feelings that you folks had for Marianne. I am
humbled by all that you said and all that you have done. I will be eternally
grateful.

There are no words to express my appreciation for everything you have done for Marianne and her family. I haven't been able to participate in so many things but being with all of you Saturday night was such a sweet pleasure and also a sweet pain to know how much all of you care and how much you loved my baby. I can't seem to get myself together enough to even imagine how we could ever repay you all for the hard work and devotion. I miss her more than I could ever imagine and just getting through one day at a time is more than I thought I could do. Knowing you have all been there for us through this past has made this whole tragedy somewhat bearable. I love you. Thanks to all of you.

What an
incredible job you all did. I am speechless for once. Sign me up for next
year. It was a very good way to see everybody. Marianne would be
overwhelmed as we all are.

I can't
begin to express my thanks for all of the hard work and caring that was put
into the fundraisers! I have never seen such an outpouring of love and
support, and I know that none of us will ever forget the impact Marianne had on
our lives. I hope we can do it again next year!
