The
2004-2005 WHE membership voted in favor of the merger with the Georgia
Association of Healthcare Executives (GAHE).
Effective
March 1, 2005, WHE will merge with GAHE and become the GAHE WHE Forum. Since you had previously paid your 2004-2005 WHE dues
($75), your WHE membership will be transferred to a 2005 GAHE/WHE Forum
membership (GAHE membership = $50, GAHE WHE Forum membership = $25) with no
additional dues owed until December 31, 2005.*
If
you have already paid both your WHE (2004-2005) AND GAHE (2005)
membership dues, please notify Lisa Smith of this via the above address, fax
number or email by February 28, 2005. Your GAHE WHE Forum account will
reflect a $50 credit (the amount you paid for GAHE dues) that can be applied
toward 2005 GAHE/WHE Forum meetings or to 2006 GAHE/WHE Forum membership should
you be unable to attend meetings in 2005.
The
current WHE Board will work hard to ensure a smooth transition and will be very
involved in planning exciting education and networking events for the GAHE WHE
Forum for the remainder of this year and beyond. We sincerely hope
you will maintain your membership and participation, recruit others, and join
us in celebrating the charter year of the GAHE WHE Forum!

*If
you do not wish to have your WHE membership transferred to a GAHE WHE Forum
membership, send a written request to Lisa Smith at the address, fax number or
email above by February 28, 2005 requesting a full refund of your
2004-2005 WHE dues. Please indicate who the refund check should be made payable
to and the address to which it should be mailed. Refunds will be
issued no later than March 31, 2005.
